My parents will need care – understanding my role as daughter & son

When parents become dependent on care, many questions arise: Do I act out of love and gratitude – or out of responsibility and a sense of duty?

This workshop focuses on differentiating between these feelings, consciously perceiving responsibility, classifying it, and distinguishing it from one's own needs.

Using examples, reflective questions, and short exercises, we will examine our own situation and personal behavior. The goal is to gain clarity about responsibilities, boundaries, and roles, and to find ways of providing dignified and mindful support to parents.

My work is aimed at relatives of parents/partners in need of care and includes advisory and reflective support. The goal is to develop individual ways of dealing with responsibility, caregiving, and respecting one's own limits.
