general terms and conditions

1. General
1.1

For the implementation of all offers from Miin Ruum (such as yoga and Pilates lessons, classes and courses, workshops, events and other events), the general terms and conditions are deemed to be agreed. At the latest with the binding registration or booking, these terms and conditions are considered legally binding and accepted by the course participants.

1.2

Amendments to these General Terms and Conditions are generally excluded and, in the case of deviating special agreements, are only effective if these are agreed in writing.

2. Scope of Services

The services include the implementation and organization of yoga and Pilates lessons, classes and courses, workshops, events and other events.

3. Costs, prices and payment terms
3.1

The current costs for yoga classes as well as workshops and special events can be found at www.miinruum.ch .

3.2

Full payment for yoga classes/subscriptions is due before the start of the class. Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due before the first day of the course directly to the course leader or online at www.miinruum.ch.

4. Conditions and cancellation conditions (refund)
4.1 Subscriptions

Miin Ruum subscriptions expire after their expiration date, are personal and non-transferable. Miin Ruum subscriptions are valid from the date of purchase or the selected start date. Course fees paid for subscriptions are non-refundable.

In the event of illness, accident or pregnancy, provided that no services were used during the certified period, the term of all subscriptions can be paused accordingly upon presentation of a doctor's certificate.


Changes to the timetable or teaching staff can occur at any time. There is no right to a refund.

4.2 Reservation terms and conditions

A valid tariff (subscription or individual lesson) is required for online registrations. This can be purchased when registering or booking online or directly from the teacher on site.


Registrations cannot be made without a valid tariff (subscription or individual lesson).


One-off registrations (e.g. individual lesson / event / workshop) can be cancelled up to 24 hours before the start of the lesson, event or workshop via the online reservation system (website or app) or by phone or email if you register by email. In the case of late cancellations and no-shows, the full amount paid will be charged.

5. Ability to participate, personal responsibility

Participants must complete an online registration or registration form before participating in our offer. By accepting the terms and conditions, the participant confirms that there are no health concerns that prevent participation in our services.

All Miin Ruum offers require self-responsibility and normal mental and physical resilience and fitness. In the case of acute physical or mental problems, you should first consult a doctor to determine whether the selected Miin Ruum offer makes sense at this time.

Miin Ruum classes, courses, workshops and events can have a healing effect on physical, mental and psychological well-being. However, they do not represent medical or psychotherapeutic treatments.

Each participant takes part in these courses at their own risk, so it is also at the discretion of the respective participant to seek medical advice before taking part in our program.


Participants must comply with any protective measures introduced by the federal government, canton or Miin Ruum, otherwise they will not be able to take part in Miin Ruum's offerings. In this case, a refund of the paid lesson, class, course or event is not possible.

6. Liability
6.1

The organizer Miin Ruum, as well as the teachers, assume liability for the proper implementation of Miin Ruum's offers within the framework of the statutory warranty provisions. Any further liability, in particular under the title of compensation, is expressly excluded.

The organizers therefore assume no liability whatsoever, in particular liability in the event of concealment of any physical or mental suffering which makes participation in Miin Ruum's offers inadvisable.


The course management reserves the right to reject participants if the course management believes that the health or psychological requirements for participation in Miin Ruum's offerings are not met. This rejection can also be made at short notice or during ongoing courses. In the event of rejection, the course fee will be refunded (pro rata).

6.2

Participants use the course rooms and offers at their own risk. No liability is accepted for valuables brought by participants.

6.3

For all offers organized by Miin Ruum, we exclude any liability for damages caused. Participants are therefore responsible for ensuring they have adequate insurance coverage (accident, theft, loss of objects, etc.). Miin Ruum Studio cannot be held liable for theft or loss of objects.

7. Place of performance, place of jurisdiction, applicable law
7.1

The place of performance for all obligations is agreed to be the registered office of Miin Ruum, Obere Bahnhofstrasse 46, 8640 Rapperswil. The place of performance is therefore Rapperswil/SG.

7.2

Swiss law applies; any disputes will be settled in the first instance by
The St. Gallen arbitration board is consulted. In the event of further disagreements that cannot be resolved by the respective arbitration board, the exclusive jurisdiction of the respective court of Rapperswil is agreed within the scope of its jurisdiction.

7.3

Should individual provisions of these General Terms and Conditions and any individual contracts to be concluded be or become void, ineffective or contestable, the remaining (partial) provisions shall remain reserved and shall then be interpreted or supplemented in such a way that the intended economic purpose is achieved as precisely as possible from a legal perspective.

7.4

No verbal side agreements will be made. Changes and additions to these terms and conditions and all membership contracts must be made in writing.

8. Data Protection

The course leader undertakes to treat personal data and information confidentially and not to pass it on to third parties. The exception to this is the passing on of data to employees and business partners for organizational reasons. The participant also undertakes to treat information about other course participants confidentially.

9. Miscellaneous/Other

Miin Ruum Studio uses photos of events on its own website or on social media, in which participants may be recognizable. If photos are planned and taken, explicit permission is obtained from the participants.
