Welcome to the world of MFR (Myofascial Release) and Myo Yin Yoga – two powerful methods that gently balance body, mind, and fascia. In today's often hectic world, the body and tissues not only store physical tension, but also emotional blockages. MFR & Myo Yin Yoga invite you to release deeply – layer by layer. MFR (Myofascial Release) is a targeted self-massage technique that uses balls or other aids to release fascial adhesions and revitalize connective tissue. The effect: greater freedom of movement, less pain, and deeper relaxation. Myo Yin Yoga combines the calm practice of Yin Yoga with the releasing effect of MFR. By staying in gentle stretches for longer and consciously working with trigger points, space is created – on both a physical and emotional level. We systematically address the entire body – from head to toe. Each week, we focus on a specific muscle group. Through myofascial rolling (MFR) with balls and rollers, we release adhesions and tension in the fascia. We then delve deeper into gentle, held Yin Yoga poses, inviting the body and nervous system to regenerate. Goal: Greater mobility, less pain, a free flow of energy, and a deep sense of connection within one's own body. A new topic every week 1. Inner thighs (adductors) For more mobility in the pelvis and space in the groin 2. Front of the thighs (quadriceps) Release tension, gently regulate stability 3. Gluteus muscles Reduce tension in the lower back, free the hips 4. Back of the thighs (hamstrings) Learn to let go, facilitate backbends 5. Hip flexors (psoas & co.) Find deep relaxation in the center of the body 6. Back muscles (lower & upper back) Strengthen posture & prevent back pain 7. Neck & cervical spine Release tension in the shoulders & head area 8. Abdominal muscles Feel the connection to the center & build inner strength 9. Lateral abdominal muscles & flanks Deepen breathing, promote mobility in the core 10. Shoulders & shoulder girdle Shedding excess weight & experiencing a new sense of lightness This practice is ideal for everyone who: want to release tension or restricted movement, want to delve deeper into their yoga or meditation practice, want to do something good for themselves – on all levels.
